Excessive Facial Hair

I'm 53 years old and in the last 3 years my beard cheek hair has extended, and my forehead has fine hairs which are becoming thicker.
I tried to accept it but it's got to the point where I don't want to see anyone so have avoided family/friends - and worked from home for the last 3 months.
Also, my hair grows extremely quickly. I have to fully shave the top half of my body every 7 weeks using a hair trimmer.
Plus I have to shave the back of my neck when I have a shave.
My skin is extremely sensitive - so much so, that a small scratch on any part of my body comes up as a blotch lasting 20-30 mins.
I went bald about 15 years ago which I could accept too, but crazily my hair on the top of my head has started growing back.
I don't know where to turn to. I think that any treatment available won't work as my skin is too sensitive.
Has anyone had this issue, and had any luck dealing with it?
