Hi,

I have had and been treating a veruca using a salicylic acid treatment for some time.
On inspection today it apears to be gone but i cant tell.

The area of skin is white and there is no presence of any uneven skin etc.

How do I know if it has gone or not?

Thanks

An important part of the treatment for veruccas is daily paring down to remove the build up of skin. This can either be done with a pumace or a foot file. If there is still a build of skin present (which could be the white skin you mention) then it may be worth just gently paring (rubbing) it down so it is level with your normal skin. Quite often when paring down you are able to see small black dots which are actually minute capillaries which can bleed when pared down. This is a sign that the verucca is still present.
