I am introducing solids to my 6 month old baby. She was given egg yesterday for the first time and seemed fine but this morning woke up with puffiness and swelling under her eyes and above her cheeks and she keeps rubbing them. She has had this before but one doctor said it was blocked tear glands, another said it looked like an allergy.
Does this sound symptomatic of an allergy or reaction to a food?

it doesn't sound like allergy- i would expect a reaction in just a few minutes, not hours later. If your baby didn't have eczema, this is even less likely. I would wait for things to settle and try again.
