Hi all ,

Apologies if this is in the wrong section ,

Recently I’ve been having a lot of issues with my skin I don’t know if it’s down tot the winter or not but I’m looking for some advice and guidance

I am getting a lot of dry patches on my skin maybe psoriasis or eczema, I currently buy boots Derma care cream that helps massively I usually mix it in with some moisturiser after my shower and after a week of constant use it goes .

My skin feels really dry most of the time and I’m starting to think maybe it could be my body wash or something I’m doing wrong

Can anybody help and give me some direction on what routine I can do or things I can use to help , maybe a better moisturiser that can relive my skin

Many thanks

You should see a dermatologist in the first place. If it's eczema, then any skincare products might become even more dangerous for you.

I agree about seeking professional medical help: talk to your doctor and say what you've told us.

You're not alone with your skin issues, but not all skin is the same. You can't use a product everyone else uses necessarily: your skin type is unique to you.

I am not a doctor but you must see yours soon: you are obviously distressed and need a professional to analyze your skin and see what works for you.

Hi there,

Thanks for sharing, and you're definitely in the right place—skin issues like this are more common than people think, especially in colder months when the air is drier and harsher on the skin.

From what you've described, it does sound like it could be psoriasis or eczema, both of which can flare up due to cold weather, dry indoor heat, or harsh soaps/body washes.

you should check it out with a skin specialist.
