Hello, I just want to put this out here because I've never gotten a definitive answer.
My cheeks, chin, and forehead are naturally very red. Older photos of me show that it's been like this all my life, but nothing has changed regarding the color or other symptoms. I've stopped using makeup as my cheeks are so red they show through the makeup, so why bother.
The dermatologist said it wasn't rosacea and it was because of my skin, but why? Do other people relate? Can you do anything for it?

However, without a proper counselling I cannot dig into the reason of having a red face since you have mentioned it has been earlier also. What I can suggest you at this time is to apply cold compress to your face where the redness is extreme. I am also facing the same problem but applying some cold press get some relief.
