Dementia UK
Dementia UK is a national charity, committed to improving quality of life for all people affected by dementia.
The charity has four core areas:
Dementia UK
Admiral Nurses are specialist mental health nurses who work within the National Health Service and other care settings and are supported by Dementia UK. Admiral Nurses provide practical and emotional support to family carers of people with dementia. Admiral Nurses also influence the health and social care setting within which they work, modelling best practice, mentoring and providing support and information to colleagues.
Admiral Nursing DIRECT
Admiral Nursing DIRECT is a telephone and email helpline, provided by experienced Admiral Nurses.

Dementia UK Training
Dementia UK Training specialises in the provision of high quality training courses for health and social care professionals who work with older people and people with dementia.
Uniting Carers
Uniting Carers is a national network of family carers who contribute their personal experiences of caring for someone with dementia to help educate both the public and professionals. Through the support of Dementia UK many of our members are empowered to attend conferences, fundraise, and speak out in the media to raise awareness of carer’s issues in dementia care.
