Dr Andrew Kelso
Dr Kelso qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 1998, and completed postgraduate training in Neurology and Epilepsy in Edinburgh and London. He was awarded MD (Res) in Experimental Epilepsy by the University of London in 2010. He is a Consultant Neurologist at Barts Health NHS Trust, where he is lead for the Epilepsy group, and runs the inpatient videotelemetry service.
He is PI for several Clinical Drug Trials, and is London Lead Neurologist for EMPIRE, a study of antiepileptic drug monitoring in pregnancy. He has an interest in the Neurology of pregnancy, and helped to set up the Obstetric Neurology service at Barts Health. Other research interests include primary care neurological care, and the provision of neurological care in hard to reach populations.
