Mr Sachin Malde
Sachin Malde, BSc(Hons) MBBS MSc(Urol), FRCS(Urol), is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, London.
He qualified from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine in London, and completed his postgraduate research into the evaluation of post-prostatectomy incontinence at University College London. He undertook his Urology training on the prestigious South Thames rotation through the London deanery, and underwent highly specialist fellowship training at University College Hospital London.
He is a specialist in female, functional, reconstructive and neuro-urology, and non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. He has expertise in the investigation and treatment of male and female urinary symptoms and incontinence, bladder dysfunction due to neurological conditions, bladder pain, and urinary tract infections. He performs a range of surgical procedures for these conditions.
He also has an interest in the management of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer and performs blue-light (photodynamic) cystoscopy to optimise the diagnosis and management of superficial bladder tumours.
He has a strong academic interest and is an associate member on the European Association of Urology Guidelines panel. He has also been a tutor and examiner on a number of national specialist training courses.
