Re: Future Vitilgo treatments

Dear Kerry Thank you for your post and question. There are so very exciting development in dermatology treatments, which are targeting biologic treatments and oak-inhibitors. Re: Why do older ladies get brown face marks?

Dear G Thank you for your questions. Theses brown marks on your face are most likely to be solar lentigos, which are sun-induced lesions, most prominent on the face, forearms and dorsal aspects of the hands Solar lentigos are flat, uniformly brown and can be quite large. Re: Hoping someone can help with large red bump

Hi

Hi Roy
I am so pleased to hear dermatology are assessing this red spot. It is important that a common skin cancer, called basal cell carcinoma (a local cancer that never spreads) is eliminated, and if you do have a BCC, the dermatology department will remove it. Please try not to worry.

Re: Hoping someone can help with large red bump

Hello Thank you for your post and the images. Is this a single persistent red raised area on your nose? How long has it been present? Has it grown or changed? Did your GP examine with a dermatoscope ? Do you have any skin issues on the rest of your nose/cheeks/face. It sounds like treatment was not ...

There are no 'home remedies' but 25% improve with emollients (moisturisers) and sunscreen - SPF...

Re: What might this be on my leg?

Dear S Thank you for your post and image. Unfortunately the image is blurred, and it is difficult to work out the location (where is it on your leg?). However, it looks like a raised lesion and looks nodular; but it is impossible to diagnose from this image. Has your GP given you a diagnosis? Did yo...
