Needing to wee more frequently

Following a mild bout of cystitis which cleared with OTC medication I seem to now need to go for a wee more frequently (averaging probably 7 or 8 times between getting up in the morning and going to bed at night). Is this something that I should have checked or is this just an age thing (I am 51 years old)?

Sounds like you have a mild degree of overactive bladder
You should get your GP to do some routine test (urine culture and ultrasound) and give you some advice on fluid management, caffeine and alcohol reduction
