Is my bowel leakage due to MS or something else?
How is it possible to tell bowel leakage is occuring because of MS or if it's due to something else?

Hi Pippa
The only way to be sure that ABL symptoms are not due to any other cause is to discuss with your GP. You might be offered blood tests and your GP might suggest referral to your local community NHS bladder and bowel service. This service will offer you a holistic assessment to reach an accurate diagnosis and plan specific treatment to help your symptoms improve.
If the healthcare professionals find any concerns that do not fit with neurological presentation, then further investigations or a consultant referral might be required.
