Best cream for dark acne scars..

Hi I really have really bad hyperpigmentation and dark acne scars. Because of antibiotics I wanna ask any best suggestion cream for it.. Thank you

Acne scarring is referred to as an "atrophic" scar which has a sunken appearance and is particularly common if the acne or chicken pox rash has been scratched. The best method of camouflaging acne scarring and hyper-pigmentation is through the use of specialised camouflage preparations.

Some patients consider the use of laser treatment which aims to flatten the skin by removing the top layers to increase collagen production in the layers beneath. However, there is very limited evidence to prove the safety and effectiveness of this procedure.

There are a number of camouflage products available from your GP which may be suitable but finding the right colour match can be a lengthy process. I would advise making an appointment with your GP to discuss a suitable option for your requirements. You may also be referred to a specialist dermatologist who will provide you with more details of available options for treatment.
