Getting to see a doctor

Hello - recently I have noticed that my husband has been visiting the bathroom far more frequently during the night than previously... I have tried to mention that perhaps he should go and see a doctor but he brushes aside this suggestion and I am sure that it is because he is concerned himself. Is there anything that you could suggest that I say to him to make him go? I know this sounds ridiculous when there is so much information out there about prostate issues but having always been a fit man all his life going to see a doctor is just not on his radar.

Thank you Grace

Re: Getting to see a doctor

This is a very important topic. Some men can be apprehensive to see their doctor. Keep encouraging your relative to see theirs. I compare this to a MOT status of your vehicle. It may be that nothing is abnormal or requires treatment. It may require a simple change in fluids consumed (tea/fizzzy drinks) at the end of the day. However, seeing a GP or a Urologist is important to determine the cause.
