LS vs Keratosis

I was initially diagnosed with LS by Gynae before hysterectomy and it looks like LS. A biopsy taken during the operation showed keratosis, but I’m not sure where they took the biopsy as nothing looked any different with the white skin and no cuts. I’ve looked at pictures of keratosis and none of them look white, can it cause white skin? Can you have both conditions?

Re: LS vs Keratosis

Thank you for your question. Keratosis can look very different when they are on the vulva then when they are on the skin. LS and keratosis can look similar, and you can have both conditions. If you are worried, please see your doctor again.
