Slow Mark!! Total loss so far is 8.5 pounds but need to lose significantly more.
It's just finding the time to exercise as I know if I do this the weight loss will speed up!

I know your energy is being spent on many things so just do just what you can, try and do some short intense exercise maybe once a day, say for 1-2 minutes.

Exercise Update
Well - for the last 2 evenings I've been on 2 x 25 min brisk walks (dragged husband with me). I thoroughly enjoyed it and can feel my legs hurting just a tiny weany bit.
And when I stood on the scales this morning I'd lost .25 of a pound - I know it's small but it's an important .25 to me as it shows that exercise, combined with healthy eating, is the only way to lose weight - sorry that sounds like a plug/promo and it's not meant to be.
In total I've lost 8.75 pounds!
I'm eating less (typically a cuppa soup and Ryviat for lunch with low fat Phili cheese and forgone my after eve meal desert usually yoghurt) and now exercising.
I go on holiday in 3 weeks on one day - yikes - so need to get a wiggle on - would like to have lost a total of, say 5 more pounds to make it that round stone. I think it's possible in 3 weeks don't you?

Hi deb,
Its good but to secure the goal I would suggest more intense workout for you. Add in short sprints to your walks and even some star jumps or squat jumps. look for hills to run up and down too.

Re: Hello - 2 stone to go
Hello - 2 stone to go Im new here and need to lose 2 stone too. Just wondered did you achieve your goal and if so what did you do? Did the combination of exercise of diet changes work? Im needing to lose the weight as my BMI is 31 Im 5ft 6 and a half ins and just under 12 stone. Am suffering from Angina and arthritis and I desperately need to lose the weight. Any suggestions would be fantastic..thanks..MamaPanda..
