I need advise...
Hi, I'm a 14 year old teenager and I think I have an eating disorder. I think mabye slight anorexia but I'm leaning more towards bulimia. I checked the symptoms and causes and I relate to practically all of the ones for buimia and quite a few ones in anorexia also. I never realised that they are more mental disorders than being skinny, so I never thought I had an issue. I always believed I was to fat to have an eating disorder... I am scared of scales as I don't want to know what I weigh and constantly measure myself (which is a symptom.) I don't know what to do or who to talk to as Im scared I might be overreacting and people won't take me seriously... After taking a NHS quiz I also found out (as I suspected I have shown quite a few signs of mild anxiety.) I dont know what to do or who to talk to... I would really apriciate advise. Thank-you.

Hello and thank you for posting in our forum. The best starting point, apart from talking in our forums, would be to go and see your doctor for some initial advice. Your GP should then be able to help you. There are also a number of charities that specialise in eating disorders such as Succeed Foundation -http://www.succeedfoundation.org/ and Weight Concern - http://www.weightconcern.org.uk/ and it would really be worth making contact with these organisations too.
Please come back and let us know how things are progressing.

hi...........................
eating disorder is big problems of our youngsters,Puberty comes with so many physical and social changes that it’s hard for any teenager not to have a bout of low self esteem. Concerns about weight, eating, and the body in general are common in both girls and boys. Eating disorders are something lots of parents worry about, and with good reason

The exact treatment needs of someone struggling with an eating disorder will vary according to the individual. It is, therefore, important that a health professional coordinate any treatment plan.
It can be scary and embarrassing to seek help for an eating disorder but gaining support from a trusted friend, family member, religious leader, school counselor, or work colleague is for many people the first step on the road to recovery.

Hey there,
It's definitely not abnormal to be feeling the way you are feeling. Good luck and please talk to your doctor. I am sure something can be worked out and that if you need help you can get the help you deserve. I know there are people in the world who are thinking and care about you. Like me!
xoxo

H iWorried Teenager. I read your post and it really resonated with me. I dealt with strikingly similar issues and feelings as a teenager, and I've been struggling with relapsing ever since. I'd really like to see you go down a different path that I did. If you ever want to talk, please send me a message. I think I really understand where you're coming from, and also have a stickpile of personal mistakes you can learn a thing or two from, if you'd like. I added you as a friend just in case.

I would recommend you to eat healthy foods and you must create a proper time table for your eating routines. You must prepare a schedule about what to eat or when to eat. This may solve your problem. And you should concern with a nutrition expert.
