Say Yes to Meditation
Meditation is the best way to get relief from stress and depression achieving the inner Peace. Meditation as a practice is an effort to stop the mind from its natural tendency to weave thoughts. In the practice of meditation, you try to relax and then try to focus your mind on a divine form, a sacred sound or a word or phrase as mantra, or you focus on your physical body, breath or thoughts. Meditation is just sitting with your own mind for a while.
Research shows that meditation can significantly reduce the pain of certain chronic conditions and stress. Meditation creates the exact opposite physiological state of what the human stress response produces. Those who meditate experience decreased blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen consumption, along with increased intensity of alpha, theta, and delta brainwaves. This indicates that meditation can reduce the stress caused by chronic pain and can improve overall mood levels. Always use an Herbal Incense while Meditating.

Agree with Ernestelliott !!
Meditation stimulates parasympathetic nervous system, or the branch of peripheral nervous system that helps the body return to a calm, relaxed state after the threat of danger, or even daily stress, has passed.
When this branch is activated, the body can naturally rejuvenate, repair, and rebuild itself.
It also clears the mind for better quality sleep.
It Boosts the immune system by slowing the production of the stress hormone cortisol.

Great insight Ernestelliott!
Thank you for sharing this information.
I also agree with this. Meditation really do have a lot of benefits. It's been proven that mediation can alleviate anxiety and stress. It can also significantly reduce the chance of burnout. I've been doing Yoga for quite some time now and it helped me relax and sleep better. It's really a recommendable activity.

Thanks for sharing. I have read a lot of benefits about meditation. I have always wanted to try it out but I could never really find the time. I guess early in the morning is the best time to meditate.

Re: Say Yes to Meditation
Yes totally agreed with you, Meditation can also help us to understand our own mind. We can learn how to transform our mind from negative to positive, from disturbed to peaceful, from unhappy to happy. Overcoming negative minds and cultivating constructive thoughts is the purpose of the transforming meditations found in the Buddhist tradition......I meditate and I am living relaxed and stress free life...

Totally agree!
I've never heard about increasing of alpha, theta, and delta brainwaves while meditation. But I sure it is true. I started meditating this year and already have positive alterations in my behavior (and attitude to different situations).
I hope I will be practicing it till the end of my days)
