Vanishing Psoriasis due to separate injury
I have psoriasis which came on suddenly with vigour 3 years ago, it gradually became worse and I am on a ladder of treatment under the NHS in UK, the condition is on my legs and arms, mainly on the lower legs and forearms, Recently it has twice mysteriously disappeared which coincided with separate injuries to my skin. First, 5 nasty insect bites on one arm wow the were itchy and uncomfortable but almost within 2 days the psoriasis disappeared from all areas, the bites cleared up after a week or so and the Psoriasis came back, scarlet and unsightly. The second event is as a result of a biopsy to establish if the skin disorder was something more tasty than " just" psoriasis, biopsy and stitches on leg, bit uncomfortable but within 3 days the skin condition again all but vanished. Is this a reaction to the immune system being fooled by a minor injury. Anyone else had this release from the condition due to a minor injury to the body?
