No control over sexual desire

Hi, I'm a 29yo male and have a rather weird problem that has been going on for about 2 years now. I used to masturbate normally and have control over when I want to ejaculate and have erections. This means I could go a week or more without, if I wanted to. About 2 years ago something suddenly changed, with no particular notice that my body would give. Every 2 days before going to bed or just laying down, my body now wants to ejaculate sperm, like I would try to sleep and suddenly get this erection and urge to ejaculate with the typical penile muscle contractions you'd get when masturbating. If I would ignore it, it doesn't go away and pushes me to really strong arousal to lets say finish it.
Now I don't really mind the pleasure I get, but it has been a bit challenging at times to balance this in my daily work/personal life as I don't know exactly what's going on with my body. I did notice that if on a 2nd day just before it happens, I go in the forest and ground myself with hands/feet I don't get this urge that night, but it does come back after a day or 2 if I don't ground myself again.
Does anyone know what this sort of thing would be called? Thanks!
