Sex Headaches

I have been getting violent headaches in the back of my head just before I go to ejaculate, the pain is severe but lasts for 5mins but I am left with a dull headache for a few hours, sometimes all day.

It started 20 years ago with my partner at the time but it went away until a few weeks ago when I had sex with my current partner, I just dont remember how I got rid of it all them years ago.

I am being referred to a neurologist but I just want to know if any man in this forum has or is experiencing the same as me and how they got rid of it?

Should I stop sex altogether for some time or not?

Any advice would be helpful.
