Re: JUST NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO...
Hi,
Im very sorry to hear about your sons severity of eczema. My 3yr old has very severe eczema now also but when he was younger it wasnt too bad.
We have tried everything possible including creams, emolients, ointment, bath adds, oral sterroid course etc and still he scratches.
Have you had any allergy tests done? Maybe hes allergic to the millk? My son tested negative to all
Anyway, we seem to have controlled it a little by using a combination of Neem oil, Refined Emu oil and Olive oil.
Its very hard watching your child suffer, but please dont rely too much on steroid creams, it thins the skin rapidly. X

Do you see a Dermatologist? Has your son ever been admitted to hospital to try and get his eczema under control?

Hi
I am sorry to hear your little man is suffering.
What tests did you have? had you given him any type of antihistimine before the tests?

i know how u feel...not even my family understand...the endless sleepless nights..the constant pointing and staring when we go out...having to apply creams and give baths that sting and make them cry...im a prisoner in my own home a lot of the time. feel free to message me anytime..i know myself that just getting things off your chest can help a lot xx

You must go back to your hospital dermatologist, what steroids have you tried? Keep in touch here it is good to chat with people who understand

Re: JUST NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO...
Hi,
I just wanted to say that i'm sorry for all of us for having our child/ren to go through this terrible disease. Eczema sucks!
Anyways I also agree about going to see a specialist.
My boy isn't as bad as yours but he was told by the Paed. Allergist that he was infected so we had him in a bleach bath - maybe you can talk to a professional about it? It's very similiar to bathing in a swimming pool as it kills most bacteria on the skin. Anyways my boy who's 6mo rubs his eyes occassionally but doesn't cry or have red eyes so i know it's not too strong and it works VERY WELL for him.
Hope you can find some friends and support here *hugs*
