Re: Getting blood out of bed covers
The best method I've found for getting blood out of the covers is to put them in cold water to soak for a while. Then after an hour or two, rub it hard with soap or a 'vanish' bar and put it straight into the washer. It usually works.

I use a product called prespot for any blood. It works fantastically and doesn't have any nasty toxins in it either, which can also flair up eczema. Karen :0)

Re: Getting blood out of bed covers
When meeting a new patient in our "habit reversal" clinic blood on sheets is one of the frequently referred to Quality of Life effects of living with atopic eczema: the good news is that success with The Combined Approach - see http://www.atopicskindisease.com - means blood on the sheets can be a thing of the past. Prevention is better than cure!
