Re: I feel i have tried everything without success
We used a cream called renew it was amazing as 2 of my children had eczema and one was on steroids. They haven't even had a breakout now for 10 months and when we initially used it they were getting relief from their eczema after 4 days. I educated myself on it all when we had such great success and I now help other families (some with very severe cases where all other products used to burn their skin). I think if you find something good and is working, just tell people.

Re: I feel i have tried everything without success
Hi
I agree that some creams do mask the problem and the cream isn't just the one thing to look at, we completely detoxed our homes and got rid of the harmful chemicals and the things such as phosphates in our laundry. We are going back to nature and using the best to relieve and heal at the same time. I too was sceptical but if for the last 10 months it has stopped my children having any breakout and i have helped lots of other families just like ours, then it is what we were looking for.
Believe me we tried everything before this and to be able to help my children get off steroids it was worth it and to not pay more than we would pay in a supermarket.
Kind regards
Karen

Re: I feel i have tried everything without success
Agree that allergy testing takes loads off a parent's mind to guess the trigger
In Singapore, allergy testing is available in hospital, and a doctor has to be consulted. After all, the doctor has to decide based on understanding your child's skin condition, suspected triggers, on what best to test for your child.
I'm running a national eczema support group in Singapore, and work with many doctors who do care for their patients and offer sound advice. I'm not sure if doctor is restricted from recommending outside of what's researched and endorsed by the community of dermatologists, which sometimes lead to patients thinking they are not much value-add. However, a doctor should still be consulted - my toddler's eczema became manageable only after consulting a doctor.
Thanks!

Re: I feel i have tried everything without success
Hi!
Any research study available online on noni and chlorella? I googled and found this info:
Noni fruit (Morinda citrifolia L.) juice
Noni juice has been used as a folk remedy in Polynesia for more than 2000 years. There are more than 150 research articles testing this juice for a variety of conditions including wound healing, memory restoration, and cancer. Research studies show Noni juice has significant anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties (Dussossoy E 2011).
Risks
Others, such as Noni juice, may cause liver toxicity, although that connection for Noni is controversial (Yu 2011, West 2007).
Chlorella, a type of green algae has been well-studied and it is clear that it binds to heavy metals, such as lead or mercury and can help eliminate them from the body. Chorella can also “reduce high blood pressure, lower serum cholesterol levels, accelerate wound healing, and enhance immune functions” (Queiroz ML 2011). In general, seaweeds act as natural chelators of heavy metals. They improve metabolism, increase ATP (adenosine triphosphate, an enzyme needed for healthy cells) production, and help regulate body temperature, energy levels, and immune function (Posit 1998).

Will be happy to know if there's research study on it for eczema as couldn't find any info on the web, thanks!

Re: I feel i have tried everything without success
Well. i wish my english was better to explain the all the benefits of taking noni and chlorella.
but its simple. noni is to build strong immune system and chlorella to detox and nourish the body.
You have to take at least three months for it to have good effect on your body.
Some mild eczema can go away by just taking noni and chlo. you just have to take it everyday like daily vitamins.
ive seen many kids all got better or completely healed with those only. They also applied noni
juice derectly on the eczema affected areas. nonis also good for burns, bacteria infection,
impetigo, colds( you can fight off colds without taking cold medicine.) It is one of the natural eczema remedy that i know.
My 4 year daughter has been taking 30tiny chlo tablets and about 9table spoons of noni juce for 4months now.
Shes also on organic diet, drink at least 1liter of clean water along with this eczema products that i buy from korea.(not available in us but approved by FDA.) the product claims it will clear skin within average3-4months depends on the history of steroids use.
my neice had severe eczema from birth. it was all over the body. it got worse when my sister moved into new remodeled home. My neice started to wake up every hour because of the itchiness. steroid didnt work much also she didnt want to use stronger one as she know brings immune system down and make matter worse in the future. anyway, things were pretty bad she had a thought about killing herself too. she started to do massive internet search as doctors and steroids cant help anymore. she found this product in korea. Stared treatment right away. now into 5months. the only thing left on her body is small patchy on her
her wrist not even itchy. and my daughter mild case)into 4months and looking prtty good. the product also claims it works for everybody and no exeption. i visit the product user forum(run by honest pple and effected by eczema themselves) and witness other babies and adults get healed everyday. i truly believe this is the answer to eczema. im not trying to sell something here as i did not even mention the name og the product. The product requires you go on. a strict organic diet and noni and chlorella as supplement. i guess what im saying is noni and chlo are very important. my neice was taking both 6months prior to this products.
she got all betterquick considering the severness of her evzema. my sister contributes to noni and chlorella. So...whatever you guys are doing for eczema, whayever the natural remedies you are doing. always start with noni and chlorella. try not to take any kinds og meds not even cold medicine. all the effort will be in vein.

Re: I feel i have tried everything without success
This is a daunting topic but it is important to understand that when atopic eczema becomes chronic or longstanding topical treatment with moisturisers and topical steroids can be ineffective because of habitual scratching. To find out more, and what to do about it, please visit http://www.atopicskindisease.com - I think you will discover that help is available.
