Eczema and the pill
Hi, i have suffered with eczema all my life, i fell pregnant a year and a half ago and after i had my little boy it seemed as if my eczema was starting to dissapear. the only place i was left with it was on my hands. 2 weeks ago i decided to give my conraceptive pill a break and in the past week my eczema has become so severe all over my arms, hands, neck and face. Could bein on the pill have helped it. has anyone else experienced that?

Re: Eczema and the pill
I haven't experienced this with the pill. However, atopic dermatitis can be tied to hormones, especially in women. I've included a link to an NHS article which discusses hormonal changes as a trigger. It's definitely worth a discussion with your health care provider.
