What else can I do?
Just completed another course of flucloxacillin, my 2 year old son has eczema that I haven't been able to manage well for past 9 months. Paid to see a private consultant who undertook skin prick tests and confirmed dairy allergy and also allergy to cats and dustmite. He prescribed eumovate for his body and daktacort for neck and face. Initial improvement, but after 2 weeks of treatment eczema over much of his body, scalp and face. Also using emollients, bath additive and tubifast. Piriton every night, but little man still awake scratching tonight at 2130. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Dear Isabella
Are you totally avoiding milk from your little one's diet? What about the formula - some formulas may be more helpful for persistent/difficult to treat eczema than others. Are you still feeding him - if so - what about your own diet.
I find that avoiding egg and soya (despite negative SPT) may have an effect on eczema....but this is really trial and error.
Do you have all the avoidance measures in place to avoid the aero-allergens?
Apologies - but I cant help about the emollients/creams.
