Thank you. I am very sorry to hear your story. A recent small study showed that a dermatology test called patch testing may identify relevant food allergies in up to a third of patients with irritable bowel syndrome. Although this test is usually used to identify triggers of eczema / dermatitis, it might also be helpful in IBS. To request this test you have to see your family doctor or a Dermatology Consultant.
