Re: Palm Oil
Hi, with regard to finding out whether a food product has palm oil, it will be within the ingredients list. There is now a requirement to let consumers know what oil is being used for prepacked foods like a pack of biscuits or cakes.
For non-prepacked foods or loose foods such as meals in a restaurant or cafe there is no requirement to let you know if palm oil is used in the food. You can always ask and the caterer could check for you and if in any doubt to choose something else or eat elsewhere.

Dear Natasha,
Palm oil is vegetable derived oil so will not be a problem if you are nut allergic.
Hope this helps.
