Pelvic floor excercises following radical prostatectomy
I had my prostate removed by robot assisted radical prostate surgery 11 weeks ago. Following removal of the catheter at 2 weeks I had a little control of urine flow and I have been wearing incontinence pads. I have been doing my pelvic floor exercises as prescribed and there was a little improvement initially in that I could hold urine in when getting up from a chair for example but now it seems to me that my ability to control the flow of urine has become worse than it was immediately after the catheter was removed. Does anyone have any experience of this or any suggestions that may help?
