Seborrheic dermatitis
How can I treat my seborrheic dermatitis? I don’t have it on my scalp like most people but get outbreaks every few months on my face, chest and groin, it is very sore red and itchy. My GP thinks I should take antibiotics to reduce the symptoms each time I get a flare but I’m not sure this is the safest way to control and easy my discomfort. Can anyone give me some advice?

Re: Seborrheic dermatitis
Doctors usually know best.
Try using a good cream, and stop itching the area so much. Itching can make things worse. Try a warm, wet, towel to stop the need to itch.
