Hello

Hello!

I have a 3 yr old with eczema and a kiwi allergy.

I just had confirmed last week my 8 month old is allergic to dairy, egg, tree nut, peanut and sesame. She also has full body eczema which is controlled on steroids and emollients. I breast feed and have cut all the allergy foods out of my diet. Since cutting out the dairy 8 weeks ago her skin looks SO much better i can't tell you!

I am a member over on talk eczema too but thought i'd drop by here as well as i'm so new to all this! I am working out how to feed her and us all without any of her trigger foods. So any recommendations on cookbooks or recipes or anything (!) is great.

I do hope she will outgrow these allergies but i'm aware the nut and sesame may be unlikely...

Re: Hello

I breast fed my daughter for 2 years as the dairy free formula was shocking. she finally out grew the dairy allergy aged 3/4. I found a good old fashion cookery book was very useful as it was standard ingredients. I had to work out in advance what I could feed her if we were out. Trying to get toast without butter was my toughest request!! Food shopping on line was good as I could read labels on line without standing in the shops for hours.
