ITCHY KNEE SCARS
I HAD A KNEE REPLACEMENT 18 MONTHS AGO AND IT IS STILL VERY ITCHY IT HAS-NOT IMPROVED AT ALL IT IS STILL SORE WHEN PRESSED WILL IT GET BETTER.?

Since it has been 18 months since your operation, I am thinking that this scar might be hypertrophic ('bulky') and I would definitely get it examined by your GP for further treatment.
There are a number of options for treatment including:
a) Moisturise with cold cream/ointment/oil
b) Massage with firm circular movements 3-4 times a day
c) Consider an over the counter anti itch tablet
d) Consider laser, steroid injections/tapes, silicone gel/tapes
