Reviews
This support programme is so informative and it has helped me enormously. I love the fact that a single subject is covered each week in a straightforward non-technical way. The information given is, in my opinion actually better than any help I have ever been given from my GP. The links provided let you get more technical information when it is needed. The whole experience has left me better informed and far less anxious about going through the menopause. Well Done!
The mymenopause support program was extremely interesting to me as I was going through it but I didn’t know a lot about it I was having almost every symptom but I didn’t know until I started here so I learned alot as some days I felt as though it was something else like the pains all over my body or why am I starting to forget things that I have just done or simply for get what I was talking about my hair was also falling out which scared the life out of me then to top it of why did I wake up soaking wet and going red hot that I had to take clothes off in the middle of winter my skin was also so dry it felt like leather my mam had mentioned the menopause to me so I had a rough idea it could be that so when I came across this you can understand why it meant so much for me to learn all about it I wanted to look at HRT as I couldn’t go on like this it was making me miserable and poorly some days I didn’t even want to get out of bed as I was in that much pain nevertheless I read up on everything and I can’t thank the support program enough it’s helped me understand all I need to know about the menopause and that HRT is safe to take I am starting on the patches this week and I can’t wait hopefully it helps me control my symptoms.
This was an excellent, easily accessible support programme that covered all aspects of menopause from peri to post. Lots of really informative articles with suggestions on how to manage the vast array of symptoms than might be experienced along with discussion around considering when to ask for GP intervention. A really useful programme; I took a lot away from it and realised that everything I was going through was completely normal for me, although we might all experience menopause differently. I’d thoroughly recommend women participating in this programme no matter what stage they are at as there really is something for everyone.
