Reviews
I found the support programme extremely supportive in emphasis on what to expect and to manage concerns. It provided faith in myself that I can do this and knowing I had weekly emails kept me going and I knew I was not alone.
When I first started and felt unsure about how to cope with my wound that kept oozing and I just was so scared it would never heal, this programme helped me so much.
I recommend talkhealth to the highest as they know how to treat and look after wounds and scars. I also trust the advice given and fully understood every step. It was so easy to log on as I hate the messing about! The advice was greatly needed, and I'm grateful and delighted I signed up.
Very useful and accurate. Was great to read other people stories especially at a time when we are so isolated and vulnerable.
It is very interesting. Very knowledgeable, easy to understand. I love this webpage it's amazing. Very simple to use. I like receiving weekly emails.
This programme has helped me to deal with the scar caused by my knee replacement surgery a great deal. No-one told me to moisturise it when I had it done and this has been the biggest tip as I would have never have thought to put any cream on a scar.
The mywound support programme was absolutely fantastic helping me through it so much! I would recommend to everyone.
I really appreciated the straightforward and well-presented information presented in an attractive way. The information was actually applicable and useful to me personally.
I feel that anyone would benefit from these kinds of support programmes. There is not enough information given to deal with these problems. My wound was due to surgery, I had surgery twice and they entered through the old scar. Your support programme helped me go through the delayed healing of my wound and helped me to use creams and moisturisers on the scars. I was scared to touch my scars but your programme gave me the confidence I needed.
This is an extremely informative support programme offering excellent advice and information about all aspects of wound healing and wound care, I would highly recommend it to anyone with a wound or following surgery to aid in their healing.
Very informative and helpful. Great information given in frequent small doses, easy to understand and very useful. Definitely answered lots of my questions about my wound and great advice to help it heal.
Great advice, helpful hints and advice from other peoples experiences, and links to organisations who can advise.
Following surgery the support from the hospital was minimal based purely on the follow up out-patient quick appointment so the mywound programme was a go to site written in plain English and with the stages programme that along with another site helped me to care for and pay attention to the scar and the healing process as well as any possible negatives that actually did not happen.
It was helpful in finding out ways of dealing with my wound, things to try and thunk about. And knowing other people out there have similar problems. And learning about the different websites helps to find more information and talk with other people about it.
A brilliant programme full of helpful tips and advice.
