Dr Stephanie Gallard has been an accredited GPwSI in Dermatology for many years, as well as a non-consultant member of the British Association of Dermatologists. She works as a GP across several practices on the Wirral and in Liverpool and is also a member of the Governing Body of Liverpool CCG.  She is also a registered, licensed to practice pharmacist. The dual qualification is incredibly useful and an exceedingly rare combination. She is also in demand as a lecturer at the RCGP and the Primary Care Dermatology.

Stephanie has worked in dermatology for over 18 years, largely for the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital Trust. She is also in demand as a lecturer – her strong belief in quality, accessible dermatology education, especially for primary care clinicians, means she lectures on the subject regularly to a variety of audiences for a variety of organisations, including the RCGP and the Primary Care Dermatology Society. Her lectures are very well received, and she is known to be a dynamic speaker. She works on a larger footprint for the Elective Care Programme for Cheshire and Merseyside, where she is the primary care lead in a teledermatology pilot. As the Wirral Clinical Champion for Dermatology, she is heading up a complete Dermatology service redesign, which will hopefully result in a more integrated holistic service.
