Expert Clinic - Life after prostate surgery
The Urology Foundation and talkhealth teamed up to offer our community a chance to put their questions to urology experts on what you can expect from life post prostate surgery.
The Urology Foundation and talkhealth teamed up to offer our community a chance to put their questions to urology experts on what you can expect from life post prostate surgery. Because of the prostate’s delicate position in the body, prostate surgery can lead to problems with erectile dysfunction or urinary incontinence, issues that can affect a patient’s relationship, quality of life and mindset.
We were joined by two experts in the field, consultant urologist Arun Sahai and Lorraine Grover, a psychosexual nurse specialist. Both believe that men should be given support to get back to a normal life, rather than just living with the effects of prostate surgery. They answered your questions on Thursday 1 July, which you can view in the clinic forum.
