This is the second time we have done the eczemachild programme and each time learnt something new. I think every eczema patient should have access to this via all GPs.

My son and myself enjoyed the programme and the stories other people had to tell. It made my son not feel alone with his condition as it was making him feel embarrassed and irritated if he felt itchy and wanted to scratch in front of the other children. He was able to find ways to cope and control his eczema better and use skincare products in the proper way to reduce flare ups and infection occuring. I have found the programme has taken some stress and worry away as I felt that when my son was feeling down I was unable to help him before. We both have benefitted from being involved.

It was extremely helpful, with tips and advice on how to notice trigger areas and how to control flare ups without necessarily seeing the GP every week.

Very interesting, informative, helpful and useful. I've learned a lot of things and taken notes on several key points. I'm pleased I've been a part of this and would recommend others to be a part of it.

A detailed and thoughtful approach to a concern of parents with a condition that is worrying and stressful for the child but also the parent and a guide to treatments and assistance to alleviate eczema with personal stories to show that families are not alone as well as contact information for support bodies and guides.

Very good programme to sign-up to, for my son who has eczema on his face and all the doctor can give out is a tube of hydrocortisone cream and it can thin the skin on the face which it says on the leaflet, so i explored other products being Child's Farm and Eucerin at Superdrug and Boots the chemist.

I can't fault this programme, having a child suffering is heartbreaking and you often feel helpless but I'm much more knowledgeable thanks to this programme and find I can take action to ease my child's frustrations, discomforts and pain without seeking medical advice, this is really important as GP visits can also be very difficult and uncomfortable for my child.

The programme really helped our family and made us feel we are not alone. Every bit of the info could be useful to different people with different degrees of eczema. Then if you start reading and noticed it’s not for you don’t give up because I’m sure there's a bit in the next paragraph that could change your life forever.
