Reviews
I found it really informative and helpful. I have only been diagnosed recently and did not know much information but found the weekly programme really good. It helped me to look at different aspects of my life to be able to assist my IBS symptoms. My husband has had IBS for over 10 years and some of the information contained was beneficial to him and things he had never realised about IBS before. I am currently waiting for results following a colonoscopy so found the information and peoples stories interesting as well the questions etc to ask doctors and specialists I hope that my symptoms improve more with implementing the suggestions from the programme
It was a good support programme and I have learnt a lot of things by being in it.
It was extremely useful information that was provided. I felt extremely supported and gained further knowledge about the disease which impacts on my life greatly and has done for many years now.
I certainly gained far more information about the condition and some of the tips were very helpful.
It taught me more information on how it’s caused and I can try myself to improve my diet as well as the medication I take.
It was extremely detailed, it covered a lot of ground and helped me to deal with some of the issues that I have and had never dealt with before, it was great to deal with like minded people. There was a lot of help and advice contained within the programme.
It gave me help and support and information that I would never have known about if it was not for the support program. I have learnt quite a few things that I would not have even thought about. It has provided me with help and assistance and given me an idea of other sites I can access to see if they have any solutions to my problem and if there is any where else I can go to for help and advise.
Useful, handy and easy to understand.
This programme is ideal for anyone suffering from IBS, it provides an in depth breakdown on all aspects of the condition form causes, diet, symptoms, treatments and aids. It's also a really useful tool on how to discuss your concerns with your GP. As an IBS sufferer for over 30 years, i found this programme extremely insightful and useful.
I found it really helpful, a different topic each week which wasn't too long to read so could be easily made time for. Very informative, more information than I have ever received from my doctor! Nice to know I am not alone too as the mental impact of IBS is just as bad as the physical.
In all the years that I have had this chronic condition I have never come across such well written and easy to understand information. The support groups are helpful, people who have not much knowledge of the symptoms will find this very informative, making people feel understood is very important and showing that you can have IBS d or c but still encounter similar issues. This support program is excellent. I think Doctors need to supply patients with this kind of information. I thought I knew everything about the condition but I have been able to get new information about the condition. I had been a member of Gut reaction years ago and found this very helpful but I may try some of the other support you have mentioned. I have followed a FOD map diet for a few years and found that helps. Thank you talkhealth.
It covered all aspects of IBS. It used professionals and people with this chronic condition. It clearly demonstrated the different types of IBS. It gave tips and useful ideas and follow up information. The information was clear and easy to read, not jargonised.
Good practical advice in an easy to read format. No scare mongering. Great links to other sites for help and information.
It gives lots of information, advice, links to organisations that help, case histories and stories. I have read all of it, I think, and feel much better informed. A lot of the advice has helped me. It is reassuring to know that there are so many sufferers, and people who have a much worse time with it. I have changed my diet, and I am investigating if I have celiac disease, as my son and granddaughter both have this. I feel it is much more manageable now
Increased my awareness and gave me very helpful information.
